The Forester�s second home outing was a disappointing 4-0 loss to the Zephyrs of Chicago. After their long winded, extra inning win, the Foresters came out looking to start the season 2-0. Starting pitcher Daren Streed came out firing but unfortunately the Zephyrs came out swinging and began the game with two quick hits. Throughout the course of the rest of the game, the Zephyrs rallied to a final to a final score of 4-1 with the Forester�s only run coming late in the game.

The Foresters close the series with the Zephyrs Sunday May 30th at 1:05 PM. It will be Cost Cutters Family Day at Marinelli Field and there will be a petting zoo located in the Kids Zone that is full of animals for the kiddies to pet and play with, 30 to be exact. So bring the family out to the stadium and support Rockford�s new favorite team!
